We are thrilled to announce the Metro Tunnel Creative Program has won another award for Urban Design innovation, winning Gold at the DrivenxDesign Melbourne Design Awards 2021. The award celebrates creativity and innovation in the process of designing and shaping cities, towns and villages, and is about making connections between people and places, movement and urban form, nature and the built fabric.
The Metro Tunnel Creative Program is an internationally renowned public art and creative placemaking program that delivers hundreds of activities every year that intersect stakeholder engagement, community building, creative wayfinding and business support, project marketing and improved urban amenity.
Since 2018, The Place Agency has worked with the delivery consortium, Cross Yarra Partnership to help deliver the program. The award is some well deserved recognition for the amazing people behind this program which continues to keep Melbourne vibrant.
