The Metro Tunnel Creative Program is a revolutionary program which looks to use creative and place based solutions to improve the public and place experience around the constructions sites of the Metro Tunnel project in Melbourne. The Place Agency worked with a range of key stakeholders to design and implement a strategy that enhances public life at the interface between the project and the public.

The award winning program continues to deliver city shaping initiatives and is recognised as one of the most forward thinking and progressive place based programs. This was confirmed with he project recently was awarded a “Best in Class” award from the Good Design awards for 2020.
The Place Agency after designing the program strategy, have continued to work on the program delivering a range of initiatives including pop up parks, roving performances, markets and festivals as well as a number of hoarding art commissions.
