Swan Street is one of Melbourne's go to precincts for all things food, shopping and experiences. However vacancy for many years plagued the street, primarily due to spaces not being designed for the businesses that wanted to be there. Case in point was the old a former bank building, who had been purchased by Publican Group and was set to be converted into a bar.

With this process expected to take years, the owner approached The Place Agency to deliver a retail concept that was temporary in nature but would help bring vibrancy back to the building and support other traders on Swan Street
